“We will strengthen the development engines from the endogenous, break the moorings of imperialism and create new economic channels and structures that drive the country”, said Vice-president of Planning and Development of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Ricardo Menéndez, during his participation in the XVI Conference of Ministers and Chiefs of Planning of Latin America and the Caribbean held in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay.

Moscow expressed concern about the US government’s aggressions towards the Venezuelan people. In this regard, the spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, María Zajárova, said Wednesday that “Washington’s unilateral measures contradict international law, create more and more obstacles to the supply of essential products to Venezuela, that obviously worsens the situation of all Venezuelan citizens regardless of their political preferences”.

Zajárova’s assertions take place after the administration of Donald Trump issued statements about new pressure options towards Caracas, which include a maritime blockade.

The new Vice-minister for Multilateral Issues of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Alexander Yánez, reported Tuesday that the Bolivarian Government in coordination with the United Nations System is developing a humanitarian response plan that will combat the devastating effects of coercive measures unilateral measures imposed by the United States government in important areas of national development.

The declaration was made by the Venezuelan authority after holding a meeting with representatives of all the agencies of the United Nations System (UN) for the second consecutive day.

The Bolivarian Government ratifies the convening of an extraordinary meeting of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO) in order to evaluate and coordinate concrete decisions to quell the fires that have affected the Brazilian Amazon for more than 20 days. In order to attend and take immediate action on the devastating ecological and social consequences generated by forest fires in the Amazon region, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela through the Bolivarian Government officially proposed an extraordinary meeting of foreign ministers of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (ACTO).

The information was released by the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, through his Twitter account @jarreaza.

The Executive Vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, offered a balance sheet about her work visit to the Russian Federation, with the aim of continuing to strengthen the alliances and brotherhood relations between Venezuela and the Eurasian nation.

“One of the first meetings we had was with the co-chair of the Russian part of the High Level Intergovernmental Commission, where we reviewed all the agreements in different areas of cooperation, moving forward with good news that you will soon be able to give Venezuela. New areas of cooperation in the economic field, extraordinary for our national development”, she announced from the Tuyero Socialist Plastic Industrial Complex.

During the second edition of the radio program “Remembering the friend”, dedicated to talk about the legacy of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez Frías; the Ambassador of Venezuela in Cuba, Adán Chávez, special and permanent guest of the journalist Roberto Bastida, conductor of this segment of the informative magazine Cuba Online, of Radio Habana Cuba, reflected on the Venezuelan and Latin American unity in the face of the aggressions of the US empire and its allies.

On August 8, the Department of International Politics of the Communist Party of Venezuela (PCV) made a statement condemning the imposition of the new economic sanctions by the government of the United States on the Venezuelan State and indicating that the strengthening of the financial blockade will only deepen the suffering of the people, and is far from contributing to a peaceful solution to the internal conflict.

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted on Thursday the massive participation of the people in the “No More Trump” global campaign, by collecting four million signatures in rejection of the unilateral and coercive measures of the United States Government ( USA) against the people of Venezuela.

The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, highlighted on Wednesday the commitment ratified by the governments of Venezuela and Russia to respect and defend International Law, referring to the meeting held in Moscow by the Executive Vice-president, Delcy Rodriguez and the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in which they addressed the interference policy of US imperialism.
